This week Tarek is taking us through a great functional movement coupling: the split stance clean into rotational press!

Some tips from the video:

  • Working in more than just the sagittal plane is vital in functional training
  • Putting one leg back, into a split stance, works the forward leg harder, helping with any inbalances
  • Drive from the hip but avoid overemphasising and hyperextension
  • Simply moving the foot to a 45 degree angle can open up the body
  • Always make sure to work both sides evenly
