Video #4: Potentiation Component

Potentiation drills are often overlooked as a part of a structured warm up, but in a way we all perform some sort of potentiations (it’s usually our warm up sets).
But we can do better and get ourselves to a higher level of neural drive without so many warm up sets in the workout.
Potentiation drills are geared towards increasing neural drive to match the intensity of the upcoming workout.
The key thing to remember and practice here is matching the level of intensity without the fatigue that comes from working at such a high rate.
So remember, maximum intent, minimal volume!
