After 12 years helping shape FTI’s education, Jacq Ng is joining our executive leadership team as an official Business Partner of FTI Global.

Jacq will also continue in his role as Global Head of Education, supporting the development of FTI educators and practical coach education across Asia and into the Middle East.

Since joining FTI, Jacq has delivered education across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia, as well as more broadly throughout Asia and into the Middle East. His experience spans coaching, multi-site fitness leadership, educator development and regional learning programs.

This appointment recognises the leadership, expertise and commitment Jacq has brought to FTI throughout that journey.

A technically prepared athlete may still respond differently when the significance of the moment changes.

Pressure can affect attention, communication, decision-making and what a person feels able to access. For the coach, the question may move beyond what the athlete knows to what is changing in their response.

Alana Thomas, High Performance Manager for Fiji Women’s Rugby, has worked with Jay Hedley across high-performance rugby environments, including the Rugby World Cup.

Jay brings that experience into Mental Skills Training Level 2 with Tarek Michael-Chouja, helping coaches explore the person behind the performance while keeping the work connected to real coaching conversations.

The next intake begins on 9 September and includes 12 live online sessions.
