In this week’s video we show you Dan’s Favourite Kettlebell Squat variations. The basic kettlebell squat is a great exercise for building lower body and core strength and is a foundational exercise of kettlebell training.
We have 6 incredible variations that will challenge a wide spectrum of fitness levels. The squats vary in difficulty and each impact the body in a unique manner. We have organised the squats in what we believe are the easiest to the most difficult.
If you cannot execute the preceding squat perfectly then I wouldn’t advise on progressing to the next variation.
The more difficult squats (Overhead and Pistol) are more demanding in terms of mobility. You may need to address ankle, hip and thoracic mobility to complete these with great form.
