- Tightness in the hip, whether joint or muscular, affects your ability to deadlift
- Using the handle of a kettlebell to put downward pressure on the soft tissue of the hip can help release the tension in the posterior hip area
- After releasing the hip tissue, a functional bag can help with coaching the hip pivot
