Kettlebell Swing Teaching Tips: Swinging too Low

Keeping the Kettlebell path high ensures optimal posture and muscle recruitment.

  • Squatting in the swing makes the movement quad dominant instead of being powered by the posterior chain.
  • Swinging low causes a rounded spine and compromises spinal alignment.

Place an object between the feet to force the path higher so the kettlebell is swinging high up the thighs.
